The Heiress Nobody Saw Coming (Natalie and Marcus)

Chapter 652 Cassie's Confession

Sheldon waved his hand, signaling his men to leave. "Leave now. I need some time alone."

"Sheldon-" one of his men started to speak.

"Listen to me," Sheldon interrupted, cutting him off. "I know you're loyal, and I know you won't betray me. But whatever the reason, helping me keep things from Mr. Marcus was wrong.

"As for Cassie, the fewer people who know about her situation, the better. From now on, none of you can return to Holden Residence. You'll go abroad and live well, just as I've arranged. The money I've set aside for you will be more than enough for a good life. Now, go. Lower the lifeboat, and get off the open sea."

With that, Sheldon waved them off firmly.

Once they were all gone, Sheldon turned and walked into the next room. Vigrax was incredibly potent, painful, and contagious, so Sheldon wouldn't be stepping back into that previous room.

The room next door also had a large screen that was split in two. One half showed Marcus and Natalie's wedding, while the other displayed Cassie in her

room.

Cassie was vomiting blood, and tiny worms crawled from the blood on the floor, quickly re-entering her body. Just like that, a new wave of pain began.

After enduring endless suffering, Cassie collapsed on the floor.

Blood tears fell from her eyes. Her lips moved, but her words were unclear.

Sheldon pressed a button on his iPad, and Cassie's muffled voice became clear.

She whispered, "Dad, I was wrong. I'm sorry, Dad, I regret it."

Hearing her regret, Sheldon's eyes reddened slightly. However, there was no point regretting her actions now. Charles was gone.

He had left the world, never getting to see his beloved grandson marry and have children.

The blame for everything rested with the Jenkins family.

If Yvette hadn't appeared, Charles would have at least lived a full life, though Vivian had deceived him.

Even if it was poison wrapped in sugar, Charles would never have been harmed as long as he didn't know the truth.

Yet, everything was gone.

"Dad, I was wrong. I'm sorry," Cassie continued, sobbing uncontrollably. "I really regret it. I shouldn't have fallen in love with my own brother. I shouldn't have gone against Laura. I shouldn't have trusted Yvette. Dad, if I come to you now, will you still accept me as your daughter? Dad, I miss you. I really miss you."

She cried out, "Dad, I want you back. I know I was wrong, but what do I do now? I'm dying. I'm coming to see you. I may not be your biological daughter, but you raised me. You loved me. When I come to see you, please don't deny me as your daughter..."

As the pain grew worse, Cassie's sobs became more desperate. Her voice grew weaker with each passing moment.

Slowly, she closed her eyes, but the tears kept falling.

Sheldon didn't turn off the iPad. He watched her closely. Vigrax wouldn't kill her quickly.

The pain would be so intense that it would feel as if she were dying. It would briefly subside, only to return soon, causing her to suffer even more than before.

Those who couldn't handle it would eventually choose to end their lives.

However, Cassie had been made completely disabled by him. Even if she wanted to end her life, it would be nearly impossible.

Sheldon closed the monitor showing Cassie's suffering and opened his email.

In his inbox were several pre-written emails, all set to be sent at scheduled times.

By the time the recipients received the email, both he and Cassie would already be gone from this world. Cassie had done terrible things, but so hadhe. Their hands were both stained with blood. People like them, who brought nothing but harm, didn't deserve to live. Death would be their greatest contribution to the world.

Sheldon turned and walked out. After entering the control room, he stopped the ship. Once it was stationary, Sheldon went to the kitchen. He cooked two steaks, then brought them back to the room where Cassie lay.

"Cassie, get up and eat something," Sheldon said, placing the steak in front of her and standing some distance away.

"I know you're not asleep," he added, sitting by the door and starting on his own steak. He finished it quickly, then looked at Cassie. "Even if you're dying, you still need to eat."

Cassie slowly opened her eyes. The smell of the steak wafted toward her, making her take a few deep breaths.

"Sheldon, are you really going to let me go?" she asked, lifting her head to look at him with eyes full of blood and tears. "Are you really willing to let me go?"

Sheldon nodded. "Yes, I mean it. Cassie, I told you before, once Marcus and Natalie's wedding is over, everything will end. I always keep my word. Now, their wedding is over, and everyone knows they're married. I know they'll be happy, and that's enough for me.

"I don't want to keep torturing you. You've endured enough, and my revenge is pretty much complete. There's no point in going on."noveldrama

The most important thing was that he had heard Cassie's confession, even if it lacked sincerity. However, it didn't matter anymore. It was time for it to end.

"The steak's laced with something.

After you finish, you'll quietly fall asleep and never wake up," Sheldon said, finishing the last bite of his steak My steak has the same thing. Cassie, I'm going to die with you on this ship. After both of us are gone, the ship will explode on a timer, and we'll sink into the sea together."

Sheldon smiled faintly. "This is international waters, a lawless zone. Cassie, are

you happy with the way I've chosen for us to go?"

Cassie forced out a laugh.

Afterward, she nodded slightly. "I'm

beyond happy. You're the most

ruthless, Sheldon. You tortured me

before Marcus's wedding, made me watch his grand ceremony while witnessing Wesley and Laura's perfect happiness together. Then, you injected me with Vigrax and drugged my steak."

She gave a cold chuckle and continued, "After my last meal, I'll finally die. And

even after death, we'll be blown up. Even if there's flesh and bones left of us, we'll sink to the bottom of the sea, eaten by fish until nothing remains. Sheldon, you're truly ruthless."
