Chapter 1296

"No need to chase further," Jordan said.noveldrama

"Why not?" demanded a figure coming out of the corner.

He was cloaked in a black robe, his face hidden behind a white mask. His voice was deep, altered by a voice changer.

"Messing with the Eaton family is not a wise decision," Jordan replied blandly.

"So what if I mess with them? They're nothing," said the masked man, raising his hand.

At the signal, a bunch of bodyguards rushed downstairs.

The guests at the party had no idea what was happening, and the cameras were soon shut off.

"What's going on?" the reporters protested as they were driven out of the hotel.

The remaining ones in the hall were shocked. Given their experiences, they knew something big was about to happen. The only thing they could do was stay quiet.

"Back off. You don't want to hurt Miss Eaton," Erica shouted.

But Debra heard hurried footsteps coming from inside the hall. Alerted, she said, "Something is not right. We need to run."

"Relax. I dare them to lay a finger on me." Liza brushed it off.

She didn't think the Lowes had the guts to challenge her family.

All the guards from the party rushed out. Liza felt the pressure but stood her

Her threat didn't work anymore. The bodyguards continued approaching them.

"It won't work. They've made up their minds to capture us," Debra

Barton was already honking the horn. One of them needed to stak the guards and buy time for the other two to escape.

Erica hesitated. "What about you?"

"I'll be fine. Go quickly," Debra replied.

"I'm not leaving," Liza insisted, but visibly panicky.

The guards were closing in. Time was running out. Debra was ready to fight.

Liza clenched her teeth, pulled Debra and Erica back, and confronted the guards head-on.

She declared, "I am Liza Eaton. Capture me as you like. But if you hurt me, my father will make you pay."

The same words made the guards pause. Seizing the opportunity, Debra grabbed Erica's hand and ran away. "Are we just letting Liza behind like that?"

"She's right. Even if they capture her, they won't dare hurt her. We need to go and call for help."
