Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right

Chapter 1330

Marion raised his hand. "Take them back."

The Potter family guards moved forward. The Eaton family's bodyguards stood no chance. Their leader knew better than to fight. Debra had already spared them a bloodbath by handling this quietly.

He clenched his teeth. "We'll consult Mr. Eaton Sr. If he insists, we'll come again." Marion shrugged. "Go ahead."

He had accomplished his task. The rest wasn't his problem.

Back at the Potter Mansion, Garland and Liza huddled together.

Garland sniffled, "Back to being CEO of that boring company? No thanks."

Erica and Randy exchanged exhausted glances.

Edgar remained silent, wrinkling his brow.

"We're old friends. Take a seat and relax," Debra added.

He sneered, 'Sit? I'm trussed up like a turkey.'

"Standing's fine too." Debra shrugged. "Same difference."

Edgar wore casual clothes. Without his suit, he looked less like a villain.

"You know why you're here," Debra

continued. "Do you prefer to tall ne

nicely or try the hard way?"

"You want to know about the hidden treasure, right?"

"Smart man."

"What if I refuse?"

"You have no reason to refuse unless you like those gruesome tortures. We're all civilized people. You've lost your company, and the treasure is beyond your reach. It's better to tell us. If we find it, maybe you'll have a chance to see it."

Edgar remained silent, and Randy cracked his knuckles. "Don't be

Cubborn. She's being polite. I

were me..." Content belongnoveldrama

Debra interrupted him with a rising hand, giving Edgar a moment to weigh his options.

Moments later, Edgar's gaze flicked to Garland. "Why don't you just ask him?"
