My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

Chapter 761

Alex Yeager stumbled down Mayhill Pig Farm in a wretched state and dragged himself back to the Yeager family villa.

"I swear I'll get my revenge! Dustin... I'll make him wish he was dead! I'll never let this go!" He had never been this furious before, nor had he ever suffered such humiliation.

"Alex, what happened to you?" Alex's parents were startled at the sight of him.

"It was Patricia and that damn b*stard by her side! He actually dared to lay a hand on me..." Alex's eyes burned red in anger.

"What? He hit you? He's got some nerve!" Alex's mother, Barbara Yeager, was livid. Her voice rose in fury.

"That piece of trash dared to touch my son?" Alex's father, Damien Yeager, was livid as well. His face darkened as a dangerous glint flickered in his eyes.

"Dad, Mom, I want revenge! I want that b*stard to kneel before me and beg for forgiveness!" Alex gritted his teeth.

"No rush." His father sneered. "Patricia has always been looked down on by the family. We gave her that pathetic pig farm, and there's no way she'll make any profit out of it. I'll make sure she fails even harder. Once she's kicked out of the family, you can do whatever you want with them. They'll be powerless."

"Great! I'll wait. I want to see them utterly ruined!" Alex grinned.

Dustin and Patricia spent the day cleaning up the Mayhill Pig Farm. It looked slightly better, but it was still a rundown mess.

Serious renovations were necessary if they wanted to keep it running.

"How are we supposed to afford repairs?" Patricia got worried as she surveyed the dilapidated farm.

She then glanced around at the barren landscape around Mayhill Pig Farm and let out a deep sigh.

It felt desolate, and the thought of wasting away here for the foreseeable future made her feel depressed.

"It'd cheer us up a little if there were some flowers around."

"I'll have someone plant them," Dustin said.noveldrama

Patricia was lost in thought. The two of them had nothing else to do other than tidy up a little.

Mayhill Pig Farm was isolated, but soon, they had visitors.

"Oh goodness! This place is even worse than I expected." A middle-aged couple panted as they climbed up the hill.

"Uncle Evan, Aunt Yvonne, you're here." Patricia went to greet them and led them inside.

Dustin followed behind her.

Patricia introduced Evan and Yvonne Yeager as her uncle and aunt to Dustin.

Evan and Yvonne had been helping her and her mother since Wilhelm left. She had never forgotten their kindness.

"There's no way you'll make any money from this pig farm. Keeping it from going bankrupt would already be a miracle." Evan and Yvonne frowned.

"So, you knew about that too." Patricia's tone revealed a hint of irritation. "Yet, none of you spoke up for me."

"Patricia, we can't be blamed for that. It's your arrogant friend's fault. You know full well how much the Yeager family despises him, right? Because of him, they now dislike you, too. If we had spoken up, your grandfather would've taken it out on us instead..." Yvonne shot an accusatory glare at Dustin.

"He's really something, though, huh? He managed to piss off every single member of the Yeager family. Now that you're with him, you're bound to be dragged down, too."

The couple did not even bother lowering their sarcastic voices in front of Dustin.

"Enough! I've accepted my fate." Patricia's tone was heavy with frustration.

"Accepted your fate? What fate?" Evan chuckled suddenly. "Patricia, your future isn't set in stone yet."

"What do you mean?" Patricia was confused.

Evan and Yvonne exchanged a glance before turning their gazes toward Dustin. Then, a meaningful smirk crept onto their faces.

"Patricia, you're still young and

beautiful. There are plenty of wealthy heirs who would kill for a chance to be with you. Why settle for someone so beneath you? He doesn't deserve you," Yvonne said with a smile.

"You two... You want me to marry into a powerful family?" Patricia's face twisted in shock as realization struck her like a bolt of lightning.

She finally understood. They were here as the Yeager family's messengers, and their concern was never for her. Instead, it was about the Yeager family's interests.

"You're seriously saying this to her right in front of me?" Dustin laughed in disbelief.

If he remembered correctly, Evan had already suffered at Drake's hands. Yet, he still had not learned his lesson...

"What? You got a problem with that?" Yvonne sneered condescendingly like Dustin was a nobody.

"This is your own fault. You have nothing. You have no background and no status. And Patricia? She's the most sought-after woman in all of Hattan. You really think you deserve her?

"You're ruining her youth and her future!"

"You two really have a lot to say!" Dustin chuckled dryly.

The Yeager family was so convinced that he wanted to be with Patricia.

In reality, he had zero romantic interest in her. He was doing this because he owed Wilhelm a favor.

"The Yeager family doesn't want to give Patricia a chance at all. They just want to use her to gain more power, don't they?" Dustin said in a deep voice.

"A chance? Please. That would be a waste!" Evan scoffed.

"Oh, you want a chance? Here's your chance." Yvonne smirked. "The family has divided up their assets among the third generation exactly because they want to judge the third generation based on their business performance.

"If you're so capable, make this pig farm profitable within a month, and we'll all admit you have some skill. But if you fail, you need to stay the hell away from Patricia. For good!"

"That's enough! What does this have to do with him?" Patricia snapped.

The Yeager family was deliberately trying to set her up for failure so she would

have no choice but to agree to an arranged marriage.

Why did they always have to use Dustin as an excuse to pressure her?

This farm was beyond saving. How could she possibly make a profit out of it? There was no way she could compete with the businesses that the other heirs from the Yeager family had received.

Dustin was guaranteed to fail if he accepted this challenge.

"That's easy." Dustin smiled faintly and was completely unfazed.

He had no interest in playing games with these two.

But he would make sure to help Patricia and make the Yeager family regret this. Patricia, Evan, and Yvonne were all briefly stunned. They had not expected Dustin

to agree so easily.

Was he insane?

Or was he just grasping at straws?

Either way, it worked in Evan and Yvonne's favor.

"Good. Then, it's settled. If you can't make a profit in a month, you'll leave Patricia alone." The couple beamed as if they had already foreseen the results.

With their mission accomplished, they had no reason to linger. They swiftly made their way down the mountain.

Patricia looked at Dustin with a helpless face.

Why accept a bet that was impossible to win?
