My Love Was His Cure (Natalie and Blake)

Chapter 16

That evening, the facades of several landmark buildings in New York kept repeating: "Natal-

ie, I'm sorry!"

The sky in front of the Shaw family was also filled with a large number of drones.

Felix himself knelt in front of the Shaw family's door, shouting loudly, "Natalie, I was wrong! I don't ask for your forgiveness; can you take this set of iris jewelry back?"

People kept bringing him high-end shoe boxes and stacking them around him.

With each pair he sent, he would open the introduction and shout several times without

ask- ing for forgiveness.

The wound on his head had not been treated, and after the blood dried up, it changed color, looking like a fierce ghost crawling out of hell.

Natalie

saw him on the surveillance footage and was so annoyed that it gave her a headache.

"Sleep! I doubt he can last a few days."

The Shaw family parents and Liam exchanged a

smile, all feeling relieved that she could let go.

Blake spent a lot of money getting the curtain wall on the landmark building done.

Full of anger with nowhere to vent, I gave benefits to my old comrades: "Have you seen those drones? Show off your skills tonight, and tomorrow you'll be rewarded based on the

number."

Not long after, as stones flew out one by one, the drone gradually fell until the night sky re-

turned to its usual tranquility.

Felix still refused to leave.

The darkest moment before dawn, a torrential rain suddenly fell without warning on

this land.

Felix looked up at the endless rain and darkness, as if he had returned to those years when he couldn't see anything.

He envied his past self, having Natalie as his eyes, bringing a ray of light into his darkest life.

It was him who didn't know how to cherish, pushing Natalie further and further away.

So, no matter how Natalie treated him, he always wanted Natalie to come back to him.

A restless night.

Natalie had a long dream accompanied by the sound of rain.

In her dream, she encountered two raging fires intertwining, and amidst the flames, Blake descended from the sky and safely carried her out of the fire.

She had no burns on her body and did not feel any pain.

After waking up, she sat up blankly holding the blanket, thinking about her nine-

year-old self being saved by the adult Blake, feeling absurdly ridiculous.

But the hand honestly sent a message to the psychology counselor, telling about the dream.

In her faint expectation, the mentor replied, "The second fire was a great opportunity. Con-

gratulations, the nightmare that has troubled you for many years is gone! If you ever fall into a nightmare again in the future, just pretend I never said anything."

She rushed into the kitchen excitedly, took a deep breath, and lit the gas stove with her hand.

When the flames shot up, she took two steps back, but soon approached again on her own.

She stood for a long time, the flames in her teary eyes going from clear to blurry and then back to clear again.

Took out my phone and sent a message to Blake: "Thank you!"

Thank you for arriving on time that day and rescuing me from the fire; also thank you for curing my nightmares!

She edited the message, then immediately deleted it without sending.

Blake, who was puzzled, cleverly climbed up the pole: "Since you want to thank me, why not treat me to breakfast as a token of gratitude? After eating, I can accompany you to meet the interior designer." Natalie readily agreed.

After the rain stopped, the air was very fresh.

But Felix at the door of the house made her mood not so beautiful.

She walked past Felix and headed towards Blake.

Felix staggered to his feet from the ground: "Natalie..."

He had already found out Blake's identity, and this outstanding man made him feel threat- ened.

And in front of him, Blake also did not hide his hostility towards him and possessiveness to- wards Natalie.

"Don't go out with him! I took back the iris flower necklace you designed and also had someone collect a lot of high-

end shoes. Take a look and see if there's anything you like."

Blake glanced at him.

Reaching out, he opened the car door for Natalie, standing right between him and Natalie.

Felix shouted in frustration, “Natalie, give me a chance to make amends with you. I can't be without you."

"I was deceived by Mabel before, which led me to do those things

that hurt you. My love for you has never changed, I have always been clear that you are the one I love."noveldrama

His voice tinged with a hint of sadness as he spoke, "Natalie, we used to be very happy. Can we make everything right again?"

Natalie turned around and looked at him coldly.

His face was pale from being drenched in the rain, but his lips were unusually red. Fromhead to toe, he looked disheveled, yet his handsome and charming appearance could not be hidden. It added a touch of vulnerability to him.

The old me was not only lovesick, but probably also had a nurturing heart. Seeing him like this must have been heartbreaking.

But now I just feel nauseous.

"Felix, you are not worthy to talk about love. Do you even understand what love is?"

"Initially, you thought you loved

Mabel, pursued me to make her

jealous, and got into a car accident

to keep her. After she left, you thought you loved me, and then you could feel at ease, accepting my care for over six years."

"She came back to you, you chose to marry her and gave me bone

marrow with poison to cure her illness, seemingly loving her. But you were also with me, planning a

wedding for me, seemingly having feelings for me."

"You covered gratitude, guilt, and habit with the cloak of love, to decorate your desires and hide your selfishness and inner filth."

"Please don't appear in front of me again in

the future. I don't want to have any interaction with you no matter what you do."
