My Two Billionaire Husbands: A Plan for Revenge

Chapter 319: It’s Time

Chapter 319: It’s Time

Months flew by in a joyful blur, and finally, the day of the much-anticipated fundraising event for St. Anne’s Home for Orphaned Children had arrived—an event led with passion and heart by none other than Cammy herself.

Excitement buzzed in the air as the guests poured in, answering the invitation that Cammy and her friends had sent far and wide.

The turnout was nothing short of phenomenal, and for those who couldn’t make it, generous donations flooded in, proving that the orphanage had touched more hearts than they’d ever imagined.

The program kicked off right on schedule, perfectly choreographed with Cammy’s usual mix of warmth and precision. Backstage, she rallied the children like a seasoned coach before a championship game, helping them shake off nerves with laughter and high-fives.

As the first child stepped onto the runway—head high, eyes wide with pride—the crowd melted. Each little model wore a piece of Cammy’s collection, crafted with love and care, inspired by the very stories of the children who wore them.

There were soft pastel dresses embroidered with dreams, tiny suits stitched with hope, and playful streetwear that screamed confidence and joy. Every piece told a story, and the children wore them not just with style, but with purpose.

"Oh, my goodness, Cammy! This is a success—look at everyone’s faces! They’re glowing with joy and excitement!" Sister Olivia exclaimed, peeking through the curtain with wide, delighted eyes.

Cammy, still breathless from the energy of the show, nodded with a mix of disbelief and gratitude. "I know... I can’t believe it either," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "Let’s hope we sell everything tonight. That money can go such a long way for the kids."

The applause grew louder with every child who walked down the ramp, beaming as they saw the crowd cheer them on.

By the time the final model stepped offstage, the magic had worked its spell.

A staff member rushed backstage with a clipboard, beaming. "Cammy! We just got word—all pieces are officially sold out! And more pre-orders are coming in by the minute!"

People didn’t just want the clothes; they wanted to be part of something meaningful. Orders began flooding in, from boutique owners to influencers to mothers touched by the show.

And as if the momentum couldn’t get stronger, the donation box filled faster than anyone imagined—cheques, envelopes, and pledges of support rolled in, not just for the clothes but for the orphanage itself.

As the final round of applause echoed through the hall and the children took their final bow, Cammy stepped onto the stage, holding the mic with trembling but grateful hands.

"Good evening, everyone," she began, her voice a mix of joy and emotion. "Tonight is a dream I never thought I’d see come true. Thank you—for showing up, for cheering the kids on, for believing in our vision. Your love and generosity will not only keep St. Anne’s going, but will also help us expand the care we give these incredible children."

A cheer rippled through the audience as she took a calming breath.

"To those who placed orders and made donations, from the bottom of my heart—thank you. Every stitch in those clothes was made with love, and tonight, you’ve helped turn that love into hope."

The crowd clapped again, louder this time.

"And now," Cammy said with a bright smile, "before I start crying up here, I’d like to invite all of you to enjoy the buffet prepared by none other than our generous sponsor, Chef Ricardo Rossi!"

The audience erupted in excited applause as the lights shifted toward the long, beautifully adorned buffet tables on the side of the hall.

"Please, help yourselves, enjoy the food, celebrate with us, and make memories. Tonight is for the children—and for all of you who made this night so magical. Thank you!" she ended with a bow as music began playing softly in the background and the crowd slowly moved toward the feast.

At the foot of the stage, Greg waited like a knight in shining armor, his gaze never leaving Cammy as she carefully made her way down. He held her hand firmly, the other ready to catch her if needed, while she gently cradled her massive baby bump with her free hand.

"Promise me you’ll rest after this. No more working while we wait for our little prince," Greg said, half-pleading, half-teasing.

Cammy laughed softly, her eyes glowing with affection. "I promise, my handsome husband. After tonight, I’m officially on baby watch."

Greg grinned and helped her to their table, beaming with pride.

Just then, Ric arrived like a whirlwind, balancing a tray stacked with delicious food. "I thought I’d save you the trouble," he said with a cheeky smile. "The line’s wild and I know your swollen feet aren’t exactly fans of standing." noveldrama

"Hey, don’t make the pregnant lady cry or you’ll have two babies to deal with!" Greg joked, earning a round of laughter.

Cammy playfully pouted, then eagerly grabbed a fork. "These look amazing, Ric! Oh—and congrats! We heard from Grace that you finally won the custody case against Bartolomeu."

Ric smiled warmly. "Yeah, I did. Thought I’d lose, but in the end, Bartolomeu gave his blessing. He said he realized that my daughter is better off with me since he’s getting old and his health is failing."

Greg raised an eyebrow as he watched Cammy devour her food. "So what now? What’s next?"

"I’m taking her home to Arlon City," Ric replied. "We’ll stay there for good. Raise her surrounded by my family."

But before anyone could reply, Cammy froze. "I... I don’t feel so good."

Ric instantly leaned forward. "Was it the food?"

"No," Cammy said, gripping her stomach, a sharp breath escaping her lips. "It hurts—my stomach... Ahhh!"

Greg jumped to her side, panic settling in his chest. "Is it time?!"

Cammy gave a shaky nod. "Yes—I think it’s—ahh!" Her eyes widened as water gushed down her legs. "Oops... my water just broke."

Greg and Ric exchanged frantic glances before Greg swept her into his arms without a second thought, holding her princess-style.

"Move, move!" Ric shouted, clearing a path through the crowd like a bodyguard on a mission. "Cammy’s in labor! We need to get to the hospital!"

The guests erupted in chaos and excitement, cheering and clapping as Greg sprinted past with Cammy in his arms, her laughter mixed with pain and joy echoing behind them.
