At that moment, Khloe realized that Whitney was losing patience. Just a slight nudge might force Whitney to expose her true motives. This was something Khloe and Henrik had prepared for.

Khloe concealed her feelings and followed Whitney inside.

“Electronic devices must be left outside. Khloe, as a medical researcher, you understand the risks external contaminants could pose,” Whitney said as she removed all her electronic devices and even her basic accessories, then looked at Khloe expectantly.

Khloe nodded in acknowledgment, understanding the protocol. She removed her electronic gadgets and accessories, placing them securely outside the lab.

Once Whitney was sure Khloe had no means of outside communication, a flicker of coldness passed through her eyes as she led Khloe deeper into the lab.

“This is where we conduct research on genetic diseases. The gene technology I shared with you previously was developed right here.”
