Secrets Of The Neglected Wife

Chapter 1299

Chapter 1299:

Fabian’s heart ached for Lilyana.

“Lilyana, if I had known you were at Arame Tower, I would have moved heaven and earth to find you.”

“Then you would have walked right into their trap.” Lilyana turned her gaze toward Fabian. “I didn’t want to see everything you’ve worked for go up in flames.”

The three of them deeply cared for and worried about one another. Each of them hoped that they could carry the weight of it all. Thankfully, it hadn’t ended in tragedy.

Allison’s gaze landed on the scar on Lilyana’s face. It looked old, the mark of a painful past.

“Mom, once I recover, I’ll have the MDH Pharmaceutical Research Institute prepare something to remove the scar. It can be completely healed.”

Lilyana gently touched her head, a tender smile lighting her face.

“My daughter has become a soft and brave adult.”

She pulled Allison into a tight embrace, her arms trembling with the years of longing and love that had built up between them.

At that moment, a knock echoed on the door of the ward.

“Come in.”

A nurse entered, offering a bright smile. “The patient in the next room has woken up. The doctor asked me to inform you.”

Kellan had woken up?noveldrama

Allison froze, her heart skipping a beat.

Lilyana, sensing the depth of their connection, quickly helped Allison up. “Don’t rush. He’s not going anywhere.”

Fabian and Lilyana supported Allison as they made their way to the next room. But in the end, only Allison stepped inside. They understood that young love needed its space.

Inside the room, Allison was relieved to see Kellan safe and sound. She exhaled deeply, her heart finally easing. “You’re finally awake.”

She couldn’t shake the memory of how close she had come to losing him. Just thinking about it made her feel a chill run down her spine. Kellan reached out, pulling her into his arms, his embrace tight and reassuring.

“I’m fine. Thankfully, we’re both still here.”

As long as they were still alive, everything else felt insignificant in comparison.

“I heard from my parents that the human experimentation has been completely shut down. Ferdinand made sure our identities were protected.”

Allison nestled closer, her head resting against his chest.

“Milady’s poster is everywhere though.”

Kellan smiled, a hint of mischief in his eyes. “With Ferdinand involved, the world will know about Milady’s crimes.” He lowered his head, kissing Allison softly. “Allison, I love you.”

“I love you too.”
