Javier stood up and went upstairs. Clearly, he agreed with Colby’s decision.

Colby stormed off to find someone to arrange the divorce proceedings.

In the living room, only Presley and Amoura were left. Presley lay on the floor, trying to breathe through the pain as she watched Amoura approach with a chilling smile.

“It’s you. You’re the one who called the reporters!” Presley glared at Amoura.

Amoura smiled, squatting next to Presley and gently brushing her disheveled hair back. “Don’t worry. I’m just speeding up your departure from the Deleon family. I’ll protect you from them. You’ll be alright.”

Presley’s heart sank. “Raymond listened to your instructions as well?” Only Raymond had known of her plan to seduce Bryan today, as he was the sole person who could assist her in bringing Bryan over.

“There’s no use lamenting over what has already happened. It’s too late now. It’s unfortunate you were too slow, and nothing happened between you and Bryan. What a waste.” Amoura stood up, her voice dripping with disdain. “I’ve arranged a place for you to stay. Someone will take you there. From now on, you have to follow my instructions, or…”

So, Presley, who had initially hoped to make Bryan protect her, was now forced to rely on Amoura’s help.
