Shrouded Affections Winning Back My CEO Wife

Chapter 1335

Chapter 1335:

Leyla was silent for a long while before she finally asked, “Is that so?”

Stella lightly tapped the table. “Of course. Let’s eat first and then go watch the performance tonight.”

She believed she had to do everything possible to stop Leyla from meddling in Eileen’s and Bryan’s lives! With that thought, Stella grabbed Gabriela’s hand and pulled Leyla along to the dining table.

Lunch was delicious. Eileen, who hadn’t gotten a chance to rest all morning, was both tired and hungry. During the meal, Leyla tried to speak several times, but Stella stopped her.

Eileen stared at both women, confused. She had no idea what they were thinking.

Once they all had their fill, Stella asked Leyla to go out and watch the performance with her.noveldrama

Ruby rushed Eileen upstairs, asking her to get some rest. From the bedroom window on the second floor, Eileen saw Leyla and Stella talking as they walked.

Suddenly, a large pair of hands drew the curtains closed. The next second, Eileen felt a weight on her shoulder. Bryan’s gentle tug drew her onto the bed, where she settled snugly against his side.

“Don’t worry; my grandmother may be a bit mischievous, but she means no harm.” Eileen knew that Bryan could see that there was something amiss about Leyla.

Bryan’s eyes drifted shut, and he wrapped his arm gently around Eileen’s waist. “I’m aware of that. My grandmother also only has good intentions. I think my grandmother…”

“And yours will soon become good friends.” Eileen’s laughter filled the air as she guided Bryan’s hand to her growing bump. “Gabriela may stir up trouble often, but this little one’s purpose is to bring me happiness.”

“Hmm?” Bryan opened his eyes slightly. “Why did you say that?”

Bryan’s hand enveloped Eileen’s, cradling her gently rounded stomach. Eileen said, “When I was pregnant with Gabriela, I had severe morning sickness that landed me in the hospital. This time, however, it has been smooth sailing. I eat more, drink more, and sleep well. I’ve even gained weight.”

Bryan stared at Eileen’s body. Though her limbs were still slim, her curves had become more pronounced. Bryan had heard that pregnancy could bring breast growth, but hip changes were far less common. It appeared that Eileen was one of those rare cases, even though she hadn’t realized it herself.

But Bryan had noticed it, suffering daily from being able to look but unable to be intimate with her.

“Has it been three months yet?” Bryan asked.

Eileen quickly did the math and responded, “Yesterday actually marked exactly three months.”

“Really?” Bryan asked, his tone shifting.
