Shunned By An Alpha, Cherised By A Lycan

Chapter 234

Chapter 234:

“I didn’t—” I started, but the words felt hollow. What excuse could I give? The truth was, I had underestimated them. I thought I could storm in and rip Jason to pieces, but now the game had changed. I had no idea how far this treachery went, how deep the rot had spread.

The pain in my chest flared again, worse than before. I clenched my fists until my knuckles turned white, trying to push through the agony. But Ace wasn’t having it.

“We need to tear them apart! Now!” he snarled. “Jason. His parents. The whole damn pack. They took her from us!”

I wanted to agree. I wanted to charge into Silverclaw, rip down every wall, every barrier, and take Jasmine back. My wolf was a hurricane of rage, demanding violence, demanding blood. But I knew better.

I couldn’t just storm in blind. Not with Jasmine’s life hanging in the balance. Not when they had already proven they were willing to destroy everything to get what they wanted.

We need a plan. A real plan.

Ace growled in frustration. “You think too much, Ryder! We should be fighting, not thinking!”

“And if we get her killed because of our recklessness?” I snapped back, my voice low and harsh. “Then what? You want to live with that?” His silence was deafening.

I took a deep breath, forcing myself to think through the haze of pain. We were at Silverclaw’s gates already, but rushing in now would be a death sentence—for Jasmine and for us. Luna Anna, Jason’s father, and Jason himself… They were powerful, but they were also smart. They’d set this trap perfectly, knowing I’d be blinded by rage.

I couldn’t give them what they wanted.

“We need a Plan B,” I muttered, mostly to myself. My mind raced, piecing together fragments of ideas. “A way to outsmart them. To take them by surprise.”

Kade’s brow furrowed. “What are you thinking?”

“I’m thinking we need to do what they won’t expect.” I straightened up, the pain still pulsing in my chest, but now I had something to focus on. Something that wasn’t just despair and rage. “They expect us to storm in like fools. We’re going to do the opposite.”

“Meaning?”

“Meaning we’re going to be strategic. We need allies. People who can help us take them down without risking Jasmine.”

Ace growled in protest. “We don’t have time for that! She needs us now!”

I clenched my jaw. “And if we rush in and fail, she’s dead. Is that what you want?”

Ace’s silence was bitter, but he didn’t argue. His fury simmered just beneath the surface, a pressure that threatened to boil over. But he knew I was right.

I turned to Kade. “Get word to the Viper pack. They owe us a favor since we’ve found Jasmine. We’re going to need their stealth.”

Kade nodded, his eyes sharp with determination. “I’m on it.” He stepped away, pulling out his phone and started making the calls.noveldrama

I closed my eyes, trying to steady my breathing. The bond was gone, but I refused to believe Jasmine was lost to me forever. I could still feel a faint trace of her pain, a whisper of her fear. She was still fighting.

And as long as she fought, so would I.

My fingers curled into fists.

“I’m coming for you, Jasmine. I don’t care what it takes.”

I let Ace’s fury blend with my own, sharpening it into something cold and lethal. They thought they’d broken me by taking her. They thought I’d fall apart.

But they were wrong.
