Gilbert smirked. “Funny enough, Mr. Lane is at this bar too.”

Shaun was here?

“Where is he?” Halsey asked.

Gilbert pointed. “Right over there.”

Halsey looked up and soon spotted Shaun sitting in a fancy booth up ahead. He really was here. Around him were a few young executives, probably friends out for fun.

Halsey even spotted someone she knew-Chelsea.

Chelsea was sitting right next to Shaun, laughing and chatting with him. Shaun’s handsome face was dimly lit, hard to see clearly.

“Look, he’s got a pretty girl by his side,” Gilbert teased.

Halsey stared ahead as the executives around Shaun eyed Chelsea and joked, “Ms. Sutton, are you Mr. Lane’s girlfriend?”

“I’m pretty sure she is. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be glued to him all the time. They make a perfect pair.”

“When are we going to celebrate your wedding?”

Everyone was teasing Shaun and Chelsea.

Chelsea laughed happily. “Stop joking around, you guys.”

Warren, who was nearby, seemed in a good mood, probably because he knew Shaun and Halsey had broken up.

“Shaun, you and Chelsea have been together a while. It’s time for you to make things official.”

Shaun held a glass, but didn’t say a word. He just tilted his head back and downed the drink in one gulp.

Immediately, Chelsea said kindly, “Slow down.”

Watching this, Halsey felt a bit bitter inside. She could tell Shaun really had broken up with her this time. He thought she was going to get an abortion, and that had hurt him deeply.

Now he was single, so it was normal for him to be with another woman.

At that moment, the host stepped onto the stage. “Ladies and gentlemen, next up we have Elise, the campus beauty from Southburn University, here to dance for us.”

Cheers and applause broke out from the crowd.

Halsey looked at the stage and saw Elise Alvarez. She was pure and beautiful, wearing a pleated skirt. The music began, and Elise started dancing energetically.

Elise’s dance was full of flexibility and grace. Her kicks and spins flowed smoothly, looking truly impressive.

Wendy glanced at Elise and smiled. “Halsey, don’t you think Elise looks a little like you?”

Halsey had already noticed. Elise really did look like her and even shared a similar style with her-pure and delicate.

Gilbert sat beside Halsey. “You probably don’t know this, but Elise has a nickname at Southburn University.”

“What nickname?” Halsey asked.

“Everyone calls her Halsey 2.0.”

Because of their resemblance, Elise was called Halsey 2.0 by everyone.

To that, Halsey had no comment.

On stage, Elise continued her dance. After a few spins, she stepped down and started interacting with the guests, pumping up the excitement in the room.

Soon, Elise danced her way over to Shaun. Her beautiful eyes locked onto him, and with a spin, she landed right in his arms.

Halsey felt a shiver. Now Elise was sitting on Shaun’s lap, looking at him with tender eyes.

The crowd went wild as whistles and cheers filled the room.
