Lila nodded and took a cab to the hospital to visit Matthew.

She unexpectedly ran into Moses in the hallway. Seeing her, he glanced behind her before speaking first. "What a coincidence."

Lila nodded, not intending to say much.

"Lila, don't you understand?" Moses wasn't annoyed at her silence. "The Moore family will force Kieran to marry Faith."

Lila chuckled. "Why don't you wait until Kieran actually agrees before you start running your mouth?

"Do you think you can rely on the Moore family just because you have 'Moore' as your middle name?"

Moses frowned. "I thought you didn't remember anything?"

"I don't remember, but that doesn't mean I can't learn, right? There are plenty of people who know the truth. Is it really that hard to figure things out?" Her gaze hardened. "Why don't you worry about yourself instead of worrying about me? At least I own 22% of Morgan Group shares. What do you have?"

As expected, Moses' expression turned unpleasant at the comment, and his charming facade crumbled.

He didn't say another word and left.

Lila took a moment to compose herself before heading to Matthew's hospital room.

"I'm going to see my mentor to refresh my professional knowledge."

He nodded. "That's important. Go study. I've been too free lately. Hurry up and get me into filming."

"You don't need to worry about what's happening. Just focus on your studies," he urged. "Now go."

Just then, the nurse arrived with a new wheelchair. Michael instantly jumped up from the bed andnoveldrama
