The living room was empty when Lila returned to the Morgan residence.

She immediately grew uneasy.

Just then, a maid walked by. Lila quickly asked, "Where's Kieran?"

"Mr. Morgan went to the office," the maid replied.

Lila's heart dropped. She asked again, "What about the Moore family?"

The maid pondered. "Mr. Moore got injured, so they all went to the hospital."

As soon as the call connected, she asked, "Kieran, did you get hurt?"

A chuckle came from the other end. His deep voice carried through the phone, as captivating as ever. "Are you underestimating me, Mrs. Morgan?"

Lila thought of Dennis with his big belly and sluggish movements. He probably wasn't much of a fighter. "I was just worried his bodyguards might have gotten involved. I'm glad you're okay. I have to drop something off at the hospital, so I'll see you tonight."

"I might be home late tonight. Don't wait for me for dinner," Kieran said.

Lila agreed and hung up but was already planning to bring him food after visiting the hospital.

It was nearly lunchtime when the chef finished cooking. She took the food and headed to the hospital.

As she approached the ward, she noticed several people standing outside.

Aside from Dennis and Beatrice, Andy and Moses were also there.

Andy was glaring at Moses while the latter stood expressionless, acting as if he didn't even notice him.

Before Lila could get closer, Moses was suddenly hit.

Andy sneered. "Who do you think you are? Our family business is none of your concern!"

Moses didn't react, but Dennis suddenly slapped Andy and cursed, "You useless piece of trash! How did I end up with such a pathetic son?"

The same wife who had been supporting him moments ago immediately turned against him. She shoved Dennis away. "It's bad enough that you defend that bastard, but now you're hitting my son?

"Let's not forget my daughter! I'll kill you if anything happens to her!"

Dennis was already furious from his encounter with Kieran. But his anger boiled over upon hearing the normally obedient Beatrice challenge him. "Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you threaten me?"

A nurse ran over. "Sir, this is a hospital. Please keep your voice down!"

But none of them paid attention. Beatrice screamed, "I am your wife, Dennis!

"All these years, while you were out sleeping around, I was working tirelessly to keep you in Dad's good graces! You'd be nothing without me!

"You already look down on my daughter, and now you're raising a hand against my son? I've had enough! If I suffer, the entire Moore family suffers!"

"Miss, please lower your voice, or we'll have to call security." The nurse tried to stop Beatrice, but she was too hysterical to be reasoned with.

In the end, security had to intervene and forcefully escort them out of the hospital.

As they passed Lila, they glared at her angrily.

Especially Andy, who had been humiliated by Dennis, had his bank cards frozen, and struggled at every turn. His resentment had reached its peak. "You bitch! How dare you show your face in front of me!"

But security held him back, preventing him from getting closer to Lila.

"Just you wait!" Dennis roared.

Lila frowned but didn't bother to respond. She simply turned and walked away.

She delivered the food to Michael and Matthew before making her way to Faith's room.

Inside, Nicole was sitting by the bed. And to Lila's surprise, Faith was already awake.
