My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

Chapter 824

On the way home, Patricia did not say anything and drove quietly.

"Patricia, do you want to go back to the Yeager family?" Dustin asked.

Patricia wanted to speak up but hesitated.

"Since I left with you in the first place, whatever you decide, I'll support you."

Dustin could tell that while she said that, she still wanted to go back to the Yeager family.

"My great-grandfather is fine now because of you. I can't ask for more," Patricia said.

“I understand how you feel." Dustin looked at her. “But the people in the Yeager family are still the same. Even with your great-grandfather there, nothing will really change if we go back. It might be better not to go back at all."

Patricia nodded. She understood what he meant.

"Don't worry. We will go back eventually, but it's not the right time yet.

"Unless they beg us to return, there's nothing to discuss."

Patricia sighed and did not say anything more.

She knew the elders of the Yeager family were proud and stubborn. It was unrealistic to think they would beg them to come back.

In fact, they probably preferred it if they never returned.

Patricia had taken the day off from work, so she did not have to go in today.

The two of them went to the market to buy groceries and then returned home. Patricia insisted that Dustin teach her how to cook.

Before, she was a rich young lady who never had to do anything like this. She never had to cook.

"After leaving the Yeager family, I realized there's a lot I need to learn. Once I get the hang of cooking, I'll cook for you. You can focus on your own things then," Patricia said.

After what happened with the Yeager family last time, Patricia no longer saw Dustin as someone who just stayed home all day.

She knew he had many plans and was working on things behind the scenes that she did not know about.

In the evening, Dustin and Patricia were busy in the kitchen.

Surprisingly, Patricia was good at cooking, so it was easy for Dustin to teach her.

Suddenly, Patricia's phone rang.

She stepped outside to answer and stood there for a moment.

"It's my mom..." she mouthed to Dustin.

Dustin did not say anything and nodded.

"Patricia, listen to me. Stop being upset. Bring Dustin back with you." Her mother tried to convince her.

Patricia looked at Dustin.

Dustin smiled a little and did not say anything. He just turned back to chopping vegetables.

Patricia had been away with him for several days, and Yulia Yeager, her mom, had not called much. But as soonas Tyler got angry, she quickly made a call.

It was clear that Zack and the two brothers could not lower themselves to ask

them to come back, so they asked Yulia to pressure Patricia.

"Mom, I'm sorry. Since they were so cruel when they kicked us out, we don't want

to come back," Patricia said bluntly.

She was just as upset about this situation.

Yulia kept trying to convince her, but Patricia would not agree.

"Why won't you listen to me?! The elders are willing to accept you, yet you're being ungrateful," Yulia said harshly.

"If they want to accept us, that's their choice. Whether we go back or not is our decision," Patricia said and hung up.

It was the first time Dustin had seen Patricia being so firm with her mother.

After hanging up, Patricia smiled and went back to the kitchen like nothing had happened.

Dustin smiled.

Patricia was changing.

Meanwhile, when the call ended, the expressions of the Yeager family members turned cold.

"Look at your daughter! After being away for just a few days, she dares to talk back to you! This is

unbelievable!" Percy yelled overenoveldrama

Yulia.

Yulia was also furious. Patricia had never disrespected her before.

"It looks like these two are pretty proud of themselves. Even when we try to offer them a way back, they don't care. They're just relying on Dad's support," Zack said with a gloomy expression.

Everyone was frustrated.

If Tyler had not gotten so angry, they would not have had to deal with this embarrassment.

After forcing those two out so harshly, they had to ask them to come back.

How could they swallow their pride and do that?

“I'll call again. Let's see how stubborn that girl is," Percy angrily said as he dialed Patricia's number again.

The phone rang for quite a long time.
