Percy froze.

"Percy, she's ignoring you," Warren said teasingly.

Percy was embarrassed and very angry.

He angrily called her again.

After three tries, the call finally went through.

"Patricia! You've got some nerve to ignore my calls!" Percy yelled at her

immediately.

Patricia hung up.

Percy's face turned red with anger.

In the past, Patricia always listened to her elders. She had never acted this way before.

"Watch your tone! We're supposed to ask them to come back. Patricia isn't the same as before. A few days with that guy, and her attitude has changed," Zack said with a darkened face.

"It's all that guy's fault!" Percy suppressed his anger and called her again.

The call went through again, but this time, he did not dare to yell.

"Patricia, I'm showing you both respect. I'm asking you to come back. Isn't that enough? Don't push it."

Patricia felt irritated by his tone.

"We're not coming back," Patricia said firmly.

Even if Dustin agreed, she would not want to at this point. She was determined to stay firm and not give in to them.

Percy wanted to yell angrily, but Warren stopped him.

Zack told Percy to give him the phone.

"Patricia, it's me. Give the phone to Dustin. Tell him to talk to me." Zack did not want to waste time talking to Patricia. He knew Dustin was the one in charge.

A moment later, Dustin picked up the phone.

"Talk," Dustin said curtly.

Zack was unhappy but did not argue.

"Dustin, we were reckless before. Now that my dad has given the order, you should come back. We won't say anything more," Zack said in a low tone.

Dustin raised an eyebrow.

It seemed Zack still could not put his pride aside.

He would not even admit his mistake. The way he asked them to come back did not sound like a real invitation. It was more like a command as if he was doing them a favor.

He still remembered how they acted at the family dinner. They looked at them with so much disdain, like they wanted to attack them.

"Sorry, but I'm fine living outside. It's way better than staying in the Yeager family villa." Dustin could not be bothered to continue and hung up.

Even if the Yeager family members admitted their mistakes, Dustin still would not go back.

He had made it clear that he wanted them to beg him to return.

After Dustin hung up on him, Zack's face grew darker, as if he wanted to destroy something. He almost flung the phone away.

"Good one, Dustin!" he muttered angrily.

"They're acting this way because they got a bit of attention at the birthday party and got Dad's

support. We offered them a way out, but they refused. They really don't know what's good for them!

"Maybe he has some background, thanks to his grandfather's favor but favors are just favors. Once they're paid back, they're over. Can that compare to our relationship with the Pierce family?"

Zack was so angry that even his beard trembled.

"How ungrateful! If he doesn't want to come back, then fine. Does he think Dad should go and ask him personally? Does he have such authority? What a joke!"

"Just wait. Once the Nevernight City Project with Duscia Corporation succeeds,

it'll be a huge win for our family. Even if Dad tries to blame us, he won't be able

to."

The others nodded.

They had not told Terry about that yet.

"Warren, Percy, work harder on this deal. Stay in close contact with Duscia

Corporation and finish the project quickly.

"Once the Yeager family's position changes, those two will be begging to come back. They can't blame me for being ruthless!"

"Got it," Percy and Warren said.
