Someone shouted in surprise, “Who are you, why are you using the executive’s elevator?”

“Sorry, I’m here for an interview and I’m in a hurry.” Hayden wanted to get up as he spoke, but due to the rush his long wavy hair got stuck to the person’s button. His scalp ached from the tug and he pulled back, his hands pressing against the man’s chest.

As if receiving an electric shock, he apologized, “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to.”

Inside the elevator there was a two-second silence.

The people in the elevator let out a small laugh. However, due to the presence of that important person, they forced themselves to hold back their laughter and quickly covered their mouths when they saw his somber look.

Joseph obviously froze and inevitably furrowed his eyebrows. He hadn’t encountered something so absurd before.

That voice… It sounded familiar! Hayden was startled. Then he remembered the night five years ago. In the dim light, he opened his eyes in confusion. Although he couldn’t see the man’s gaze clearly, he could vaguely make out his thin, rosy lips. “Thank you.”

She got no response and secretly looked at him out of curiosity. That man was wearing an expensive handmade suit. He had a pair of long, attractive legs, his pursed lips were beautiful, showing his arrogant and aloof personality.

“Miss.” Her assistant reacted quickly. Having thought about her fall towards Mr. Beckham, she spoke coldly, “She said she’s in a hurry, but I guess she just wants to flirt with the president.”

Logan Reynolds pressed the button for the nearest level. When the elevator door opened, he motioned for Hayden to step out. “Please get out of here and please don’t use such a trick next time, miss.”

“Oh come on, I really don’t…”. Hayden wanted to defend himself, but the attendant asked him to get out of the elevator with a forceful attitude.

Hayden gritted his teeth and shot Joseph a withering look. He stepped out of the elevator and still grumbled under his breath, “Who does he think he is, why should I flirt with him? Pat…”

The strong ruthless aura of the man next to her made her limbs tremble and she dared not look at him. Then she said in a trembling voice, “I’ll call the security guard to come take care of this!”.
